The door is self closing and the lower panel has a window so your dog can see out while resting comfortably. The rear panel also has a window that is removable without tools. These windows are self storing and provide excellent cross ventilation when they are in the summer position. The floor is sloped with a drain for easy cleaning. The house also comes with a heater portal that provides for the heater's electrical cord (heater sold separately) to directly exit the rear of the dog house and keeps your dog from tripping over or chewing the electrical cord.
